Dakshinkali Temple, 14 miles (22 kilometers) south of focal Kathmandu and on the edge of the Kathmandu Valley, is a holy Hindu sanctuary renowned for a certain something. Double seven days, male goats and chickens are forfeited here to the goddess Kali, who is supposed to be ravenous for blood. Guests can watch this occasion at the sanctuary in the slopes.

Dakshinkali Temple is the main Kali sanctuary in Nepal. Kali is the Hindu goddess of strengthening, time, and change. Her name alludes to the shading dark, kalo in Nepali, and she is regularly called Dark Mother. Dedicated Hindus accept that homicidal Kali needs fortnightly forfeits. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, admirers carry creatures to the sanctuary where they are killed and butchered. The meat is either brought home or cooked and eaten at the sanctuary.
